Growth & Expansion
ETTV America Corporation officially entered the US market in February 2003, with its US corporate headquarters located in Los Angeles with branch offices in San Francisco and New York. ETTV America widely services the Chinese-American community with high standard news coverage and top-quality Chinese-language programs. ETTV America took another step further to serve the audiences in San Francisco by partnering with the largest cable network Comcast and channels available nationwide on EchoStar's DISH Network DBS platform as well as Time Warner, Charter, Cox, Adelphia and Champion cable operators in numerous major cities.
In less than two years, we have respectively become the leader in providing Chinese television programs to more than one million Chinese families in the United States, Canada and Central America via cable and satellite platforms. As an accountable media brand, our mission is to link the Chinese-American community together and provide supreme programs for our audiences.

Census 2000 showed that the Chinese-American population has grown exponentially during the last decade, with a total estimated population of 3 million representing 25% of the total Asian population in the United States. In addition to the growing numbers, this segment of the population is one of the most affluent groups as a national annual purchasing power, making it an especially important consumer segment for retailers and marketers nationwide. Demographic data also showed that among the Chinese-American population, well over 80% of this unique group still prefer to speak their native language and rely on in-language media; television remains to be the first medium that influences them in making purchasing decisions.
ETTV America recognizes this population accounts for the attention of marketers and business institutions, focusing on the fastest growing ethnic group in the country. We have incorporated five diverse ETTV channels and two affiliated channels from Taiwan, fulfilling the Chinese-American community in-language informational and entertainment needs and serving as a portal for marketers to begin communicating with this important audience. As a Chinese-speaking media outlet, ETTV America is the bridge that connects marketers to this critical consumer group and delivering dynamic information to the Chinese-American community.
